Intel :- Intel denies Pine Trail delay

Mooly Eden, general manager of Intels mobile platforms group has denied that nex-gen Atom Pine Trail will delayed until the first half of 2010. He confirmed that it is on shedule and show its face later this year.

Eden said “next generation of Atom that we are going to put into Netbooks.” Pine Trail will integrate a graphics processor directly onto the same piece of silicon as the main processor–a first for Intel. “We are going to integrate the graphics to get better performance,” he said. The memory controller, another critical piece of silicon, will also be built onto the same chip as the main processor.

Pine Trail-M features 1.66 GHz Atom N450 CPU with integrated memory controller and a graphics core clocked at 200 MHz. The upcoming mobile platform is expected to appear at the Intel Developer Forum in September.
